START POINT / FINISH POINT: Marrakech 

Day 01: Marrakech transfer to Imlil- Azib Tamsoult

Pick-up from the hotel in Marrakech. After your transfer from Marrakech to Imlil (1,780m), you will set off on a 6-hour trek out of the Imlil Valley and into the Azzadene Valley. Along the way, you will pass Tizi N’Mzik at 2450m, the refuge at Azib n'Tamsoult, and the Ighouliden waterfalls. Overnight in Azib ‘n Tamsoult, a good refuge. About 5 hours of walking.

Day 02: Azib Tamsoult-Toubkal Refuge

Embarking on today's adventure entails a moderately challenging ascent from the Azzadene Valley to the Toubkal Refuge, traversing the Aguelzim Mountain pass, which stands proudly at an elevation of 3560 meters. Amidst this invigorating climb, we'll pause for a well-deserved lunch, surrounded by breathtaking panoramic views that stretch across the vast expanse of the Atlas Mountain Range. As the day unfolds, our journey culminates in an overnight stay at the Toubkal Refuge, nestled in the serenity of the mountains within the confines of the Neltner Hut. This leg of the trek spans approximately 7 hours, ensuring ample time to absorb the awe-inspiring landscapes and relish the sense of accomplishment that accompanies the day's achievements.

Day 03: Toubkal Reguge-Toubkal Summit back to Marrakech

Early in the morning, you make your attempt at the summit of Jebel Toukbal, the highest peak in Northern Africa. Your route takes you up the south cirque, crossing the stream above the refuge. The walking is relatively straightforward, but the scree and the altitude will make the going quite difficult in parts. The views along the way make the journey more than worthwhile. When you reach the summit, you will see that the vistas across the surrounding landscape are quite breathtaking. From here, there are unrestricted views in every direction, from the Marrakesh Plain to the High Atlas in the north and as far south as the Anti-Atlas and the Sahara. You will retrace your steps when you return down the mountain and head back towards Imlil. Transfer back to Marrakech. About 9 to 10 hours of walking.
